Les Beaujolais Nouveau est arrive! ~ Sparklers ~ Downtown Christmas Open House

Les Beaujolais Nouveau est arrive! The New Beaujolais has arrived!

The third Thursday of November is tomorrow which can mean only one thing: Beaujolais Nouveau day!

This year we have a limited quantity of three different Beaujolais Nouveau's so come by early if you're interested: Terres Dorees L'Ancien Beaujolais by the famous Jean-Paul Brun with the other two being from Domaine Manoir Du Carra, one a Beaujolais and the other Beaujolais Villages'.

The Nouveau is lightweight and is typically served slightly chilled. The wine has very little tannin and can be dominated by fruity flavors making it an excellent bottle of wine to serve with your Thanksgiving turkey and gravy and Cranberry Sauce.

A litte history: "At one past midnight on the third Thursday of each November, from little villages and towns like Roman?che-Thorins, over a million cases of Beaujolais Nouveau begin their journey through a sleeping France to Paris for immediate shipment to all parts of the world. Banners proclaim the good news: Le Beaujolais Nouveau est arriv?! "The New Beaujolais has arrived!" One of the most frivolous and animated rituals in the wine world has begun.."
