2007 Marquis Philips Holly's Blend $12.25

McLaren Vale
Holly's Blend has traditionally been 100% Verdelho. In the last couple of vintages we introduced McLaren Vale Chardonnay and Semillon to further enhance the flavors and structure. The 2007 vintage resulted in early ripening, with low yields.

The nose has white flowers, green melon, freshly mown hay, hints of lycee, citrus-lime and honey. The palate is fresh, crisp gentle acidity, with soft, rich & round mineral structure.

2007 Trevor Jones Virgin Chardonnay $20.50

South Australia
Virgin' Chardonnay is a white wine with great depth of herbaceous fruit, medium to full-bodied fruit-driven structure, and an elegant crisp finish. It's called a Virgin Chardonnay because it is untouched by any oak influence. The only wood that had anything to do with this wine was the trunks of the vines on which the grapes grew.

Pale straw with a green tinge. Doey, ripe rockmelon, peaches, stewed pear, orange zest with delicate creamy buttery notes. The palate is rich and full with these ripe fruit characters, virginal phenolics (colorless crystalline solids and aromatic compounds) and clean fresh acid extenuates fullness.

2007 Marquis Philips Grenache $17.95

McLaren Vale
Grenache that is dark, creamy and juicy in the MP style. Deep cherry in color it has lovely aromas of cherry fruit, Turkish delight, gingerbread and hits of marzipan. The fruit is reminiscent of blueberries and spicy anise, with a big, smooth texture.

2007 Marquis Philips Shiraz $17.95

McLaren Vale
The 2007 MP Shiraz is a distinct combination of the four McLaren Vale sub-regions. A portion of the shiraz was fermented in barrel, keeping parcels and vineyards separate. Maturation was in a diverse range of coopers, 100% American oak, with a high proportion being new.

The wine has a rich, dense blackberry jam aroma with spicy vanillin, cedar and fruitcake notes. Beautifully textured, it explodes in the mouth with sweet berry, rich mocha, vanilla spice, hints of pepper and a big, soft, tannic finish.
