Foggy Ridge Cider CocktailMay 05, 2012
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup water
4 sprigs thyme
1 bottle Foggy Ridge First Fruit Cider
¼ cup gin
Juice of one lemon or Meyer lemon
2 to 4 chopped plums or other seasonal fruit
Make simple syrup – cook sugar and water with the herbs until sugar is dissolved. Cool and remove herbs.
Add gin, juice of one lemon and chopped plums. Chill for at least 2 hours.
Just before serving add one bottle of First Fruit or Serious Cider. Serve in a cocktail glass or a champagne flute.
